This course is meant to prepare trainees with the basic building blocks that cover the full range of work activities within the industry at the craft level. Integrated through the course are career preparation standards, which include Undertake Interactive Workplace Communication, Perform Related Computations (Basic), and Draw and Interpret Sketches and Simple Drawings.
Upon successful completion of the course trainees will receive a certificate of competency in Welding. To achieve this qualification, ALL core competencies plus a minimum of one (1) level one elective, three (3) level two electives, as well as one (1) level three electives must be achieved
